My menopausal weight loss client, Tracy was eating 1000 calories and not losing weight. Here is how we got her to lose weight sustainably!

While she did lose weight with one program she was barely eating any calories and not able to exercise on that program. Tracy knew those things couldn’t be a permanent lifestyle she could sustain.

Tracy is a busy woman who travels, has kids and grandkids and had been trying to lose weight for many years. She did Weight Watchers, Noom, Isagenix, Slim For Life and a 21 day cleanse.

During our work together, Tracy learned why 1000 calories was not working for her to lose weight and she was able to create a way of eating with all foods she enjoys guilt free.

Tracy explains in the podcast overcoming her fear of me not telling her what to eat, but how that helped build a solid foundation of skills to know what to eat for herself. She also describes how she started strength training for the first time in her life and overcame the fear of going to the gym to lift weights!

Tracy lost several inches of body fat, learned how to show up for herself in her journey (because she deserves it!), learned how to create a healthy and balanced relationship with food that works for her, and bonus… she is still doing all her habits after exiting weight loss coaching and looks forward to doing them!

Tracy shares her advice for other midlife women struggling with weight loss. Listen to the full Dish On Ditching Diets podcast episode clicking below or listen on your favorite podcast platform for Tracy’s weight loss story!
