Losing 30 Pounds After Fad Dieting: Anne's Transformation

At 37, she began her fat loss journey with me after having a baby and feeling frustrated with her body. She talks about how coaching helped meet her where she was at with her busy life, traveling regularly for work and being a new Mom.

Anne did every fad diet since she was 12 years old before coming to me. She always thought one day after she lost weight she would be "that person" who would eat healthy so she would do diets that she knew were unsustainable.

She shares how she now realizes today how this mindset wasn't helping her in her journey.

Also, how coaching made her realize how commercial diets don't make sense and how she feels society has gotten away from normal eating and evidence based science.

We wouldn't tell our kids to do Keto or Jenny Craig to get healthier, yet that is what we've been conditioned to believe. Use logic is what Anne says!

Carbs were a big deal for Anne too!

She was doing low carb for a very long time without results and feeling terrible. She shares with you how she didn't believe she could eat carbs and lose weight and how carbs aren't evil!

Anne didn't eliminate any foods in her journey. Anne didn't count calories. Anne didn't spend hours meal prepping.

She still went to work dinners. She still traveled for work, vacations and social events. During coaching, she switched jobs and was sick a few times too.

She shares in this podcast episode how she maneuvered these real life situations without following a strict nutrition plan, was able to plan ahead and was able to think through her strategy going into these situations.

Anne explains how she was convinced it wasn't in the cards for her to lose weight before coaching and how she had to completely reprogram her mindset to reach her goals.

She talks about the mindset work we did in her coaching that helped her do this and how she learned self compassion was so important!

Anne lost nearly 30 pounds during coaching and is in a smaller size than she was pre-pregnancy.
