How To Lose Weight When You Can't Exercise: Lanita's Weight Loss

Not sure how to lose weight when you can't exercise? Good news! You can lose weight even if you cannot exercise. You can lose weight with a chronic medical condition, and my client Lanita will tell you how she did it!

Lanita, who is 28 years old, signed up for weight loss coaching over a year ago. When she began coaching she felt hopeless about being able to lose weight. Lanita had struggled with dieting, her relationship with food, an all or nothing mindset and her weight since she was a child.

She was diagnosed with high blood pressure as a child and had to go on blood pressure medication, which she is now off of as a result of her changing her habits. As a young adult she was also diagnosed with avascular necrosis, which is a condition where the bone tissue dies due to a lack of blood supply.

I had this same condition and was diagnosed in my early 20's. Lanita discovered me from my blog posts where I shared my personal journey dealing with avascular necrosis as a young person and having a hip replacement as a young person.

After reading my blog posts, Lanita reached out to me to join coaching to get help with her habits, mindset, nutrition and weight.

Not only has Lanita successfully lost weight eating foods she enjoys and has maintained her weight loss results, she has a good relationship with food, feels confident in herself, has improved her mindset and is doing things she never imagined she could do!

Lantia's avascular necrosis medical condition has not stopped her from losing weight! Anyone can losing weight when not able to exercise and Lanita's story is a testament to that (as well as my own 80 pound weight loss journey)!

During coaching, Lanita learned several key things in her weight journey that she wants to share with other women who are struggling with losing weight and changing their habits.

She counted calories prior to coaching, but realized she was missing certain things that always made her go on and off her plan ultimately, causing her to never reach her goal.
