Be your own best friend! My client Tonya shares her journey losing weight with you today and the biggest lessons that were missing from programs like Weight Watchers and Noom which she did previously.

Tonya began working with me in March of 2023 and is sharing her story with you now after graduating the program 6 months ago.

When Tonya began working with me, she struggled with her relationship with food. She labeled foods as good and bad and would beat herself up for eating less healthy foods.

Our work together focused on hitting her nutritional goals, while eating foods she traditionally tried to restrict. In order to lose weight, Tonya had to learn that it was okay to eat less nutritious foods in her plan.

Also, she had to learn how to look at the big picture with her nutrition. Instead of beating herself up for eating a dessert one night she had to learn to look at what she was doing overall. Not just one day. Big difference!

The majority of what Tonya had to work on in her journey during our coaching was her mindset. Her mindset was the cause for her being in a pattern of starting and stopping.

She was her own worse enemy. She recognized through our coaching that beating herself up was counterproductive to her goals and that she had to learn how to talk to herself like a best friend.

Tonay’s journey did not come without challenges either.

She candidly shares how her journey losing weight was interrupted with a broken foot and neck injury. Tonya explains how shifting her mindset and focusing on what she could do was the key!
