Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing! This lightened up dressing is low in fat and calories and higher in protein. Made mayo free making this a healthier, waist friendly salad dressing. Top on salads, sandwiches or serve as a dip. Gluten Free + Low Calorie
When I was in college, my late night weekend dinners with the roommates always consisted of pizza and ranch dressing. Now, I look back and think how gross that was. Wow! I've come a VERY long way from those eats days.
Breaking up with ranch and other fatty dressing was probably the best thing I ever did for my weight loss and overall health. Folks often start off making a healthy choice of a salad then it goes all wrong with the dressing.

That's where the majority of the fat and calories are. Top the salad with a boatload of cheese, croutons and something fried and you would be better off eating a hamburger and fries.
No joke, salad dressings are probably the worse choices you can make. While I don't really don't do salad dressings often (I love my EVVO, apple cider vinegar and lemon juice concoction), I've been trying to sneak more protein in my diet. One way I do that?
With Greek yogurt ranch dressing! Greek yogurt is high in protein! And, before you say but I can't do dairy, remember Greek yogurt is highly strained and has minimal lactose. While I can't consume much dairy {hello serious stomach cramps}, I can consume Greek yogurt. So, before you knock it give it try!
This Greek yogurt ranch dressing takes 5 minutes to make in a blender and is filled with ingredients that are good for you.
Super tasty and goes really well with salads or these almond flour buffalo chicken tenders! Only 17 calorie per serving too Now, you can thank me for saving you all those calories!

Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt I used Fage
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 4 tablespoons water to thin the dressing, or substitute milk for a creamy texture
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup dill fresh, chopped or 1/2 tsp of dried dill
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Process on high until smooth.
- Test the dressing and adjust as needed. You may need to add a little more water if you like your dressings thinner, or more lemon juice for a tarter flavor, more seasonings, etc. This was the combo I liked best!
- Once complete, transfer to a mason jar and place in the refrigerator to set 30 minutes. The flavors will combine more in the refrigerator together!
Notes
- Recipe will make slightly over a 1/2 cup.
- Each serving is approximately 2 tablespoons.
