Meal Prep Saturday! Here we are with another delicious recipe! This one's a spin on my turkey "spaghetti" zoodles. I love making that recipe. It's so EASY and tastes amazing! I get compliments on it all the time so it's only right that I make a cousin recipe to go along with it. Right?
But first let's talk about why zoodles aka zucchini noodles are a better option. We all know getting enough veggies in our diet is important for weight management and heart health, but most of us aren't getting enough of them.
Swapping pasta for zucchini noodles is an easy way to sneak in more veggies. You'll feel fuller, longer from the zucchini than pasta due to the water content.

While pasta is a good source of whole grains, it's a food that can be easily over eaten. I talk about this in master your cravings. Zucchini, on the other hand, has a high amount of omega-3 fatty acids.
Great for combatting inflammation. They're also a good source of B vitamins, protein and other minerals. Bet you didn't know they were that good for you!
During my 80 pound weight loss, pasta was one of the things I missed most. Replacing it with zucchini noodles made me feel as though I was no longer deprived. Buying a spiralizer, truly transformed how I approach making meals. It's one of the best kitchen gadgets I've ever bought and inexpensive too!
It made making this Meal Prep Bolognese with Zucchini Noodles EASY to make. In fact, it only took me 15 minutes to make this meal from prep to plate. What more could you ask for in a hearty, filling meal? Very important when you're prepping lots of food on the weekend, right?
This Meal Prep Bolognese with Zucchini Noodles takes simple ingredients and transforms them into an amazing meal. I added red wine to mine.
It gives the sauce an amazing, tangy flavor. If you use wine, use one that you would drink. That ensures you'll love the taste! The alcohol really does give this sauce an amazing flavor so if you're skeptical, give it a whirl.
Now let's get meal prepping! Make sure you have your meal prep containers ready to go.
