Where are my Caesar dressing lovers at? I’ve got a goodie for you today!

One of my client’s told me recently how much she loves salads especially Caesar salads and requested a lighter version she could enjoy. Coming right up!

Before I lost 80 pounds, Caesar salads were my FAVORITE. In fact, it was the only way that I ever ate a salad. Eating greens outside of that. Not so much.

Now I love a good salad like Traditional Italian Salad, yummy Southwest Salad, and BLT Chicken Salad Recipe.

If there’s anything that I’ve learned from my weight loss, it’s that it takes time for your taste buds to change and crave healthier foods. Giving yourself that time is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.

Are you ready for a lighter Caesar dressing with less fat and calories? Let’s do it friends!

Healthy Greek Yogurt Caesar Dressing

What’s makes this dressing lighter and healthier? Greek yogurt! Not only is it higher in protein, but it also has good for you fat. Combining Greek yogurt with a dairy-free milk (instead of a ton of oil) thins it out making it the perfect dressing to top your salad.

What makes it gluten free? Caesar dressings have Worcestershire sauce in them which is not gluten free. Buy one that’s gluten free and you have a gluten free version! All the other ingredients are naturally gluten free so it’s easy.

Recipe Tips

Want to make it dairy free? Try substituting the Greek yogurt with almond yogurt (Kite Hill is the one I recommend) and use nutritional yeast and garlic powder to sub the parmesan cheese.

I haven’t done it myself, but I know YOU CAN! Get in the kitchen, play around with the ingredients and let me know how it works in the comments.

For the rest of you, it’s time to make a lighter, healthier and tasty Caesar salad dressing!
