This flourless peanut butter chocolate chip muffin recipe is an oldie, but a goodie! I tested and reshot the recipe months ago, but have been staring at the new edited photos forever trying to remember for the life of me which recipe it was I reshot.

GAH!!! I have so many recipes I can’t keep track anymore.

Actually, what happened is I posted the original recipe with the original photos on Facebook page and it went viral. Why, I have no idea???

The photos were horrible. I think I shot the original with my iPhone. Apparently, not everything has to be pretty for Facebook.

Anyway, it was at that moment I remembered the exact recipe these photos belonged to. Good grief.

Hope you feel better!! The flu this year is crazy bad – I had it!!! Also hope the ankle is OK!!!! REST!

    Great recipe!

I’m taking it easy this weekend. Swimming & walking. BTW – tried your instagram move with the ball yesterday. Killer, but I love the glute isolation. It’s right where I need to strengthen. I have a lot of glute weakness from injury, but I’m also limited in my range of motion so standard squats are not always an option. Love your tips!

Hi Megan! You poor thing, you just can’t catch a break. But no, you’re not Lindsay Lohan! hahahah! Have you tried using a neti pot to keep sinus infections at bay? Totally cheap and easy option, and they really work. Hope you feel better soon! Happy Friday!

    1. Megan says:

Hey Ashley, yes I do use a neti pot regularly even when I don’t have infections. This time it just would clear and the funky weather in Phoenix (dry then cold, etc.) was making it worse. Hopefully one of these days my life will be less goofy. Have a great Saturday!

I found you through Jill & Fitness Fridays! I am adding this recipe to my list of “to bake”!

    1. Megan says:

Hi Lauren! Nice to meet you. Hope you love the muffins. I’m warning you they are yummy!

So sorry you’ve been under the weather! I tend to do that after those long plane rides… someone is alwyas on there spreading germs! At least you have tasty muffins…

    Feel better soon!

    1. Megan says:

Have fun in Vegas! Are you going to Blend? I forgot to ask you.

  6. Suzy says:

K, so I have these sinus problems where my sinuses click inside my head when I talk and it drives me INSANE. I’ve tried nasal sprays and antihistamines and nothing works. My doctor thinks I need to go for allergy testing but I *know* I’ll be allergic to bread and milk and alcohol and caffeine and quite honestly I’d rather die.

    1. Megan says:

Wow! That is crazy to hear you sinuses like that. Being allergic to caffeine would be really hard and alcohol too. Haha! I actually need surgery. I have a deviated septum that causes things to get trapped in my sinus. I can’t breathe normally well through my nose. It’s impacting my workouts and sleep. I probably should do something about it.

  7. Elsie @ Sharing Healthiness says:

Isn’t it funny how we always say that “it only happens in movies” and then it ends up happening in real life? I am pretty sure most movies are based on real life experiences just because sometimes they feel too real. I always get a little bit antsy when the weather changes and I always think I am going to get sick but often it just comes out of the blue. #Nobueno Hope the weekend recharges you up! xx

    1. Megan says:

I think we get into a comparison trap and it’s real easy to focus on the bad not the good. A lot of good going on with my life & I guess with that comes the crazy stuff. Love that hashtag! Totally using that.

  8. lauren says:

These muffins look amazing. Going to make them later—did you use regular or mini muffin tin? Hope you feel better:)

    1. Megan says:

I used a regular muffin tin, but you could definitely make them smaller. More to eat! 🙂

  9. Michele @ paleorunningmomma says:

Sorry you’re so sick! I know exactly what you mean by wanting to wait to see a doctor! I did the same with a sinus infection until half my face was in pain and I had a fever 2 years ago, add the puking and I can’t even imagine! I’m so stubborn about going to doctors, not one of my better qualities.

On the bright side your muffins look incredible! Feel better!

    1. Megan says:

Thanks, Michele. I’m already feeling better. Funny what real meds can do for you.

  10. Erin@BeetsPerMinute says:

Ugh I hear ya with the sinuses. I have trouble with mine year round and it sucks. I have been feeling crappy this whole week too I think all the rain makes it super moldy in Glasgow because I feel like I have a rapidly inflating balloon in my head lately. It’s gross. I’m over it. Hope you feel better soon and your luck improves!

The muffins look great too! 😉

    1. Megan says:

Hope you feel better too! Get antibiotics sooner than later. Don’t wait like me.
