Ever since I made that healthy chicken with everything bagel seasoning, I’ve been obsessed! Who would think one seasoning would change you life? It really has changed mine and if you haven’t tried it yet, you must! Even my boyfriend keeps asking when are we having that bagel stuff again.

His taste buds are very bland so much to his surprise when I combined his favorite sauce…SRIRACHA with shredded chicken. If I do say so myself, it’s really TASTY!

Everything Bagel Sriracha Chicken

This everything bagel sriracha chicken is made in an Instant Pot. I make easy shredded chicken in the Instant Pot all the time to put on salads, sandwiches or over rice.

The Instant Pot makes the BEST shredded chicken ever. Super tender and moist! You can do it in a slow cooker, but it doesn’t make the chicken as juicy tender as an Instant Pot.

And really this everything bagel sriracha chicken is the simplest of meals you can make. Healthy, delicious and easy. What more could you ask for in a meal?

Serve it over rice, on a salad, in a sandwich or over cauliflower rice for a Paleo version. Many options for what you can do with this recipe, but it’s definitely one you’ll want to add to your meal time routine!

What You Need

  • Instant Pot or Slow Cooker

Helpful Tips

If you’re making this in a slow cooker, I recommend cooking on high 6-8 hours. Since you’re cooking longer, you may need more liquid to break down the protein.

Plan to have more broth or stock on hand. Check half way through and add liquid if you need to. All slow cookers are slightly different. You want just enough liquid to tenderize the meat.

If you really want to fast track this meal, buy a rotisserie chicken, shred the meat and cook in a skillet with the other ingredients 10-15 minutes on medium heat or until warm.

Remember you don’t have to be perfect to cook a healthy meal, you just have to be creative!

Made this recipe as I needed a good protein source dinner menu. Used a whole package in my crockpot. Cooked 5-5.5 hours and the chicken pulled apart so easily. The flavor is amazing. I love this dish. Good chance I keep making this every week for awhile. Thanks for the great recipe!

This was great, but I added a TBSP or two of honey just to cut the heat a touch. Topped with green onions. Also used pot in pot and made my rice with it. Delicious.

This was sooooooo salty!!! I used brags aminos is that why?

    1. Megan says:

Sriracha, coconut aminos and everything bagel seasoning does have sodium. We’ve made this 3 times and it’s never been salty, but I didn’t use Braggs so that may be why yours was saltier. For whatever reason, their coconut aminos seem saltier to me. I’ve never investigated the label to see if they have more sodium.
