Shrimp & Broccoli Stir Fry is a quick, easy and healthy dinner you can make in under 20 minutes that's only 241 calories. A mouthwatering, one skillet meal great for a busy day! Gluten Free + Low Calorie
One word. STIR-FRY. Okay, so maybe that's two works. According to our friend google, the word stir fry has a dash in it so you tell me. Does that mean it's still two words or does that fancy dash marry the two making it one? Either way I have the most delicious one skillet meal in store for you today that's not only low calorie (241 calories - I like to be exact) but also EASY PEASY to make!
I don't know about you, but that easy part is really important to me. When I read a recipe with many twists and turns, I give up after the first paragraph. There's just no way this girl has time for complicated. Between going to school, studying for my CPT exam, blogging, fitness and creating delicious recipes for you, I don't have a lot of free time these days.
What makes this Easy Shrimp & Broccoli Stir Fry so easy you ask? The delicious sauce that takes seconds to measure and combine. If I were to guess, I'd say it will take you longer to gather the ingredients from your pantry than to mix them together in a bowl.
Want to know what else makes this incredible Shrimp & Broccoli Stir Fry so easy? This is a two for one kind of post you know. There's zero produce to prep. Yep! I said it. No muss, no fuss! Just head to Walmart, pick up two bags of C&W frozen vegetables and you are ready-to-go.
Woot! Woot! But if you're like me, then you already have ten bags of frozen broccoli in your freezer for emergencies and won't need to go to the store. Truth! I love my frozen broccoli and if you've been a long time reader of SF then you know I regularly toss frozen veggies in my morning eggs, have them in a salad for lunch or as a side with my sandwiches and occasionally they make an appearance in my dinner too.
C&W frozen vegetables are my life line for when life is busy. They're just as good as the real deal but come with serious convenience! The truth is vegetables are not one of those foods that I think to myself "oh yum...serve me up a big bowl of vegetables."
Not gonna lie. My dreams are more along the lines of swimming in big bowls of melted chocolate. Vegetables don't have anything on chocolate. I gotta work at eating my veggies so having the convenience of buying them frozen motivates me to eat them so I don't feel as bad about eating my chocolate.
BUT chocolate aside, do you want to know the ultimate BEST part of this Shrimp & Broccoli Stir Fry recipe? Everyone will think you slaved for hours in the kitchen over this drool-worthy, healthy recipe and will be begging you for more! See how I did that? I saved the best for last! So whip up this crowd pleasing dinner tonight and don’t forget to take advantage of the C&W frozen vegetables good at select Walmart stores. (while supplies last)!
