Hi, friends! I'm here with an edition of This Is Life where I recap a full day in my life. It's been awhile since I did one of these. In fact, it's been since May 18th. Yikes! It's meant to show you what I do and eat on a daily basis. This recap is from yesterday!
P.S. If you're not interested in my boring life, would you complete this short 4 question survey before you leave? Thanks!
4:20 a.m. - Alarm goes off. I really don't want to get up, but I really want to swim. Last week I subbed all the spin classes and my body desperately wants to be in the water.
5:00 a.m. - In the pool and start my 25 laps. My favorite cap, goggles and swim iPod.
5:30 a.m. - Shower and change to strength train.
6:45 a.m. - Pack up and head to Starbucks to work until my 9:00 a.m. spin class. I sip on a Cold Brew with almond milk and eat a few boiled egg whites. The nice lady has seen me there so much lately she asked if I wanted a free sandwich, but I had to decline. Gluten sensitivity sucks. I miss the days when I could eat anything.
8:45 a.m. - Arrive at the gym to teach my Wednesday spin class. The mic doesn't work and nothing I do fixes it. It's a full class. The members tell me it's been broken since Monday. So I get the manager who switches out the headset, and while it worked it was only temporary because it faded in and out the whole time. Ugh...I swear something's always broken when I teach.
10:20 a.m. - Home! Make breakfast and chowed down while I checked email and caught up on social media. More eggs + broiled bell pepper + real bacon.
11:15 a.m. - Start working on a freelance recipe for meatball pizza.
12:30 p.m. - Clean up, make lunch which was turkey breast, green beans and zucchini. Then I eat while I work!
1:30 p.m. - Jump on a conference call with a web developer. SF is getting a facelift. It's going to be a big one and expensive too.
3:00 p.m. - The guy texts wanting to know what we're doing for dinner. I tell him we're eating meatballs. He interrogates me as to what's in them. Zucchini, asparagus, soy? I tell him they're simple Italian seasoned meatballs. He interrogates a little more before agreeing to eat them. Oh, lucky me! Mind you he devoured carrot meatballs last month and never even knew it was there.
5:15 p.m. - Wrap up work, pack up to head to the guy's place.
6:00 p.m. - Arrive there. We eat meatballs and tater tots. I had zucchini with mine and an apple. We work until 8pm and he's signing at his desk driving me crazy lol. We're both going out of town next week and trying to get ahead on work.
8:00 p.m. - We play games on our phones. He's gotten me addicted to Extreme Blocks. I can't stop playing.
9:00 p.m. - Time for bed. The end! My life is very exciting. lol

Too funny!
Patricia @Sweet and Strong says
That meatball pizza looks amazing! My husband always texts and asks me what's for dinner. And he's gotten very good at eating healthy experiments, lol.

It's like they're determining if they need a backup plan.

you are so darned healthy!! But.....what happened to the pizza? Who ate it? lol
Megan says
I try! The pizza crust was saved for later. I'm doing carb cycling and that wasn't a day I could eat high fat.
Emily @ Pizza & Pull-ups says
Not a boring day at all, that meatball pizza looks great.
