One of the biggest complaints I hear from you guys is you don't have time for breakfast, and if you've taken my free weight loss training then you know breakfast should consist of enough protein. Something most people really struggle with which leads to more cravings and snacking later in the day.

I found your site and this recipe by accident, and I'm so happy I did! I just love the simplicity and ease of this breakfast! Since I also put collagen in my morning coffee I have about 28g of total protein with the sandwich.. We use Egglands Best Eggs and they have additional nutrients. I add Everything Bagle Seasoning to the mix and use EVVO. I have the perfect size bowl to use, and this sandwich is fast becoming a favorite! I can't wait to try different seasonings and more of your recipes, especially the English Muffins and Bagels!. I'm a Diabetes Lifestyle Coach with T2D, and I love your site! I'll be sharing your url with my clients and in my social media posts. I'm so glad I "found" you!
Can this be made in the oven or even toaster oven rather than microwave by any chance? Do you know how I might be able to do that? Thanks so much!
I have not tried it. I presume you could. I just do not know the specifics of how long and at what temperature. If you try it, please report back so others know. Thanks!
Obsessed with this recipe. I’ve made it so many times I can’t even count! I’ve made it for breakfast “toast”, bbq pork “buns”, sandwiches, etc. The texture is PERFECT for a bread lover who’s stomach doesn’t love bread () and the density holds up to sauces but is also moist enough to enjoy by itself!
I use avocado oil bc it saves a little bit of time and has a butter essence (in my opinion!), and I sub the salt and pepper for everything bagel seasoning.
I’ve been craving this recipe as a substitute for “biscuits” and gravy… so that’s coming soon!
Can I prep enough for the week and keep in fridge or freezer?
Yes you can!
Used avocado oil. Mine rose alot in the bowl, served with sausage patty and fried egg with a little leftover turkey gravy! Very filling and tasty.
