The women I coach in my 6-month 1:1 program are over 35 and have done several diets throughout their lives. Many of these women have lost weight doing diets, but have always gained the weight back at some point. In addition, they are experiencing hormonal changes making their weight loss journey more challenging.
During perimenopause and menopause, the body fights back with weight gain or resistance to weight loss when we have mistreated our bodies by not listening to them, abusing them with repeated diets and by not fueling them with the right nutrients.
