When losing weight, it’s important to learn the skills and tools to deal with eating ALL foods. This means you need to learn how to balance pizza, pasta, chips, cookies, treats and alcohol into your lifestyle.
The more you restriction what you eat, the more your brain will always try to resist.
When you rely on willpower and have a bad day, you feel really guilty for screwing up and what I have observed working with my clients is this is where women backslide and say they have no willpower. This is a negative thought pattern and one reason why mindset is so important.
Because…inevitably every one of us is human and we will have a bad day and screw up.
However, when we accept that we will have bad days, bad meals, even bad months and that we are going to make a bad decision every now and again – we can accept that bad thing happened and forgive ourselves and then jump right back into where we want to go – that’s what matters.
This is the mindset I work on with my clients. It’s changing those negative thought patterns that will keep you moving forward not willpower and it’s a game changer!
