I'm often asked how I lost weight walking. In 2009, I began my weight loss journey with a simple walk which cascaded into an 80 pound weight loss transformation 18 months later.
Unlike other weight loss journeys, my journey did not start out with a goal of losing weight. Instead, it started out with me wanting to feel better about myself, my life and career. What started as a desire to feel better, turned into weight loss, a transformed relationship with food, a healthier body, a more positive attitude and improved self-worth.
I was in an accident in my 20's and told by doctors to be prepared for a life in a wheelchair by the time I was in my 40's. That diagnosis made me feel helpless for 15 years and caused me to over eat, not be active and to feel sorry for myself. I wasted 15 years of my life believing that my life was worthless as a result of what the doctors told me.
I see many of my clients in the same place. Wasting their lives hoping and dreaming about losing weight and not chasing after it. This episode is going to motivate you to take action now plus give you five things every women needs to do to lose weight for good.
