Wake up to a creamy Berry Hemp Smoothie Bowl laced with sweet berries, Greek yogurt and protein powder! This gluten free smoothie bowl is a nutritious and refreshing meal or snack for warm weather and great for post workout recovery!
You Guys!!! I made you breakfast!
REALLY. I did! It’s here, a Berry Hemp Smoothie Bowl. It’s waiting for you. Calling your name.
If there’s one meal I enjoy making for others, it’s breakfast. I don’t know what it is about breakfast, but everything about it makes me happy. Don’t get me wrong. I will offer you lunch, dinner and snacks if you show up at my door but there’s nothing like a good mean and nutrient dense breakfast!
Now that the weather is warmer I’ve been craving lighter and cooler foods. I usually drink a protein powder shake after my workouts. Lately I’ve been getting fancy by mixing my protein powder with frozen fruit and Greek yogurt into smoothie bowls. Have you tried it? OMG. You need to, it is so yum!
Now when it comes to protein powder I recommend to find the best protein powder for your smoothie bowl that you choose a protein powder that you like to drink with water. If you don’t like a protein powder with water, you will not like it in a smoothie.
Berry Hemp Smoothie Bowl
My favorite part of this smoothie bowl is that it’s higher protein. That means you won’t be hungry two seconds after enjoying it. I teach you how to put your food together in Master Your Cravings to avoid the sugar crash that commonly happens to people when they eat smoothies.
This one has Greek yogurt plus hemp protein upping the protein, nutrients and making it more filling! Of course, this smoothie is lightened up as well. It’s easy to make a smoothie with too much sugar, but it’s just as easy to make one with too many calories.

I’ve been looking for a protein powder for pre-workout energy, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go whey based or not. Hemp based protein seems like it might be a good option, especially because of all of the nutritional benefits it has. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
I’m personally not a big fan of whey. So many of them have a thousand additives in the ingredients. I’m a big fan of plant based protein. I like this hemp one or Vega Clean (chocolate flavor).
Yum! I love making loaded oatmeal – a loaded smoothie bowl would be great too!
Yum that smoothie bowl looks delicious! I love the vibrant color.
Thanks Lisa!
I like to eat period! I eat breakfast for dinner & vice versa! I am picky about all my supplements! 🙂
I’m funny about all my food. You sound like the perfect guest to cook for!
I need to jump on the smoothie bowls! This looks almost too pretty to eat though!
You really need to! Maybe when it warms up a bit.
I have previously tried the hemp heart seeds, so I know that protein powder must be good stuff!
You will love it!
Would like to get the nutritional information on the protein powder shake thing. Nothing on their website.
I don’t have any left otherwise I would give it to you. Sorry!
Looks delicious and I love that vibrant color! Smoothie bowls are the way to go — just finished one for breakfast! 🙂
They’re a summer time favorite of mine!
I like that you’ve essentially made your own blended yogurt! SOunds delicious.
I’m all about easy!
