My idea of a perfect morning is waking up to a Chocolate Almond Smoothie for breakfast. You know a creamy chocolate-y smoothie bouncing with flavors of vanilla and laden with crunches of almond, a smoothie so ooey-gooey thick you have to eat it with a spoon?

There’s nothing like breakfast that tastes like dessert and one that doesn’t break the calorie bank too. Hmmyum….can you imagine it? Can you feel it? Do you want to taste it?

Start your day with a thick and creamy Chocolate Almond Smoothie for breakfast that tastes like chocolate cookie dough. A gluten free, low calorie smoothie that's secretly good for you, this is smoothie is what dreams are made of!

Allow me to introduce you to my little friend Chocolate Almond Smoothie. A simple smoothie made with simple ingredients that you’re guaranteed to love. The key to making this smoothie dreamy and creamy is making it the night before. If you love overnight oats, you are going to love this Chocolate Almond Smoothie for breakfast.

Just blend all ingredients together in your blender before you go to bed, let it sit in the refrigerator overnight to thicken and mingle even more and the next morning you will have the thickest and creamiest smoothie you’ve ever met. It’s basically a party with a spoon!

Question, what smoothie is NOT gluten free?

A smoothie with regular non-gluten free oats.

This smoothie sounds like a great way to start the day! I know I’d have no problem hopping out of bed if one of these was waiting for me in the kitchen! #client

Chocolate for brekkie count me in! I love the sounds of this smoothie. I have definitely added creamer to my smoothies in the past when I’m feeling fancy 😉

I’m not a coffee drinker so I love the idea of using that creamer in smoothies! And Almond Joy is one of my all-time favorite flavor combinations. This is my kind of smoothie! 🙂

    1. Megan says:

Me too! I made a pumpkin almond joy smoothie last year and I couldn’t stop think about it so I made a Silk version!

Yum!! I have never thought of using creamer in a smoothie. I used almond often in my sweet smoothies.

My idea of a perfect morning includes waking up to my coffee, going for a run, and then BRUNCH. But this smoothie wouldn’t be an unwelcome addition!

    1. Megan says:

Oh brunch, yes! That is when it’s a good one which I have trouble finding here.
