5 Reasons Why Diets Fail

Published: Dec 23, 2019 · Modified: Feb 4, 2020 by Megan

There's many reasons why diets fail, but in my experience working with clients, losing my own 80 pounds and researching weight loss topics in depth, there's FIVE main reasons why dieting always fail.

If you've seen the show The Biggest Loser, you may remember the people on that show lost a significant amount of weight in a short period of time. What most people don't know is that the majority of the people on that show gained the weight back after the show. There were very few contestants who kept the weight off for life.

That's the goal, right? To lose weight for life?

Research was done to understand why this happened to the contestants, which I will be sharing the details of in my Webinar 5 Reasons Why Diets Fail along with the exact method I use with my clients to help them lose weight for good.

5 Reasons Why Diet Fail

You will be surprised by what was discovered in the Biggest Loser research and I consistently see women over 35 years old with 20 to 50 or more pounds to lose making this same mistake time after time.

No one wants to be in the cycle of starting and stopping. It makes you feel like a failure with no self-discipline or motivation. It's what I call the weight loss cha cha. You take a step forward, you take a step back and repeat, but you never get enough momentum to stay consistent and reach your goal.

The question I often pose to my clients is "do you want a one night stand or a long lasting relationship?"

If you want to lose weight for life, then you need to be smart about how you approach weight loss. Stop doing all the things you think you know about losing weight. Exercise more, eat less. Doesn't work.

A new detox, shake, pill, celery juice, intermittent fasting or a new diet isn't the answer either. Neither is scouring the internet for more information. Once I teach my clients the truth about losing weight, they're able to implement it with more ease and less confusion.

No more relying on willpower, extreme workouts or deprivation!

My clients are always surprised by how they lose weight with ease without extreme workouts, battling intense cravings and by eating MORE food.
