Meal Prep Chocolate Almond Flour Waffles! These chocolate goodies are not only easy to make, but high in protein and healthy fat. You only need a few healthy ingredients to make these light, fluffy, dairy free and delicious waffles. Great for meal prep and freezable too!
Transfer the batter to the waffle maker, about 1/3 to 1/2 cup of the batter will make 1 full size waffle.
Cook 5-7 minutes then flip and cook another 5 minutes. Remember, these are grain-free so they will need a little extra baking than regular flours.
When the waffle is ready, you will be able to easily remove it from the waffle maker with a spatula.
Cook the remaining batter then slice the waffles into quarters and divide into meal prep containers.
Notes
Recipe yields 3 full size waffles or 12 1/4 waffles. Each meal prep containers 3 1/4 waffles.
Nutritional values reflect 1 meal prep or 3 quarter waffles.
Measure the flour the right way or you will end up with dry waffles. Results may differ if you use different ingredients, different brands of flours than I did and/or did not measure properly.
Use almond flour not almond meal or your waffles will turn out runny.
