Instructions
Make the
low-calorie Caesar dressing here
. It makes more dressing than you need for this recipe. Refrigerate the dressing while you prepare the salad.
In a large bowl, toss together the romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cooked chicken and parmesan cheese.
Top with croutons, drizzle the dressing on top and toss again then enjoy!
Notes
Soak the romaine lettuce in a bowl of ice water for 10 minutes for optimal crispiness.
Dry the lettuce using a salad spinner or paper towel. Dressing sticks better on dry lettuce.
Don’t store the salad assembled, or it will turn mushy. Instead, store the ingredients separately and assemble the salad as needed.
