- 1 lb ground chicken breast
- 2/3 cup avocado
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium heat. If using an electric griddle, heat to 350 F. Add all ingredients for the burgers to a small bowl. Using your fingers, mash the avocado and disperse the ingredients evenly throughout the meat.
Divide the meat into even sections and press each section together between your hands to flatten and form into a burger patty.
Place the burgers on the pre-heated grill cooking 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
Remove burgers from grill and serve immediately with your favorite toppings. Store leftovers in the refrigerator up to 5 days.
