Ingredients

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet to medium heat with extra virgin olive oil.
  • Place bell peppers in the skillet and sauté 5 minutes or until slightly tender.
  • Add the ground turkey breast with salt, pepper and homemade taco seasoning.
  • Use a spatula to break up the meat and mix in the seasonings.
  • Cook until the meat is browned, stirring it frequently.
  • Stir in the salsa then transfer to 4 meal prep containers filling with lettuce and peppers.

Notes

  • Any ground meat can be used in the recipe, just note it may alter the nutritional values.
