Ingredients

Instructions

  • Bring a small pot to medium heat and add maple syrup, pumpkin puree, almond milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and turmeric.
  • Simmer, stirring constantly until ingredients are thoroughly mixed, thickened and fragrant. The sauce will be very thick and the smell is incredible!
  • Turn the heat off and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  • Cool the syrup in the pot prior to transferring to a sealable container to store in the refrigerator.
  • Pour 1-2 tablespoons of the syrup into any regular coffee (iced or hot) or espresso and top with additional cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and turmeric as desired. You can also add the syrup and blend it with your coffee to make it super frothy and thick.
  • Syrup keeps in the refrigerator 4-6 weeks.
