3 Smart Strategies To Stop Cravings So You Can Lose Weight!

WIAW…Eating the Rainbow & LJFIT Challenge Update

March 18, 2015

Hi Guys! Happy Wednesday!

Before I share all the food, I want to thank you guys for your well wishes from this post last week. Your comments and encouragement means the world! Last week was MUCH better on the recovery front. I still have good days and bad ones, but I finally was feeling more “normal.” I have a long road ahead to get stronger. Despite the injury train, I’m determined and focused and still doing the Lorna Jane Fit Challenge. I’ve had to modify many of the exercises.

Now that I’m in week 7 of 12 the workouts are more challenging with things like squat jumps, burpees and plank jumps. I’ve been modifying them to low impact. My favorite workouts lately are walking lunges, plank walkouts, round the clock planks and straight leg raises. My least favorite are pushups. I’m working on them, but I don’t think I’ll ever like them. By the way, Wordpress doesn’t think burpee’s a real word.

Anyone can join the challenge at anytime so join me and sign up for LJFitChallenge on Facebook. We’d love to have you! You can read about my first earlier reviews here and here.

Many of you’ve asked about my workout gear. Here’s what I’ve been loving and wearing lately. I love shopping for athletic wear more than real clothes!

With that, let’s get to eats! I didn’t realize until I put this post together that I ate the rainbow this day. It must be Spring!

WIAW

.Breakfast. Very Berry Baked Oatmeal

.Lunch. Easy egg muffin with bell peppers, broccoli and sweet potatoes. I really like eating eggs for lunch. I should do it more.

.Snack. Mint Hazelnut Muffin. Yum!

.Snack. Sun Dried Tomato Red Pepper No Bean Hummus and celery.

.Dinner. Skinny & Grain Free Chicken Parmasean and “Spaghetti”

.Snack. Green apple. Mom left behind two of her green apples. I’m not a green apple lover, but they had to be eaten. I ate it and I liked it. You never know what you might grow to like.

That dinner looks so good! I should switch up my menu and do eggs sometimes for lunch too 🙂

I’m really into eggs for lunch. Now if only I could come up with another breakfast I love to replace it.

I am the same with green apples. I want them sweet like candy!

WordPress should have to do some burpees as punishment for not knowing the word. Ha.

Don’t even get me started on my issues with WordPress. Annoying! Have you tried using other blogging software like Windows Live Reader or MARS Edit?

There was a time when I loved those green apples. Now if I bite into one I feel as if I am sucking on a lemon! I get shivers and put an ugly face 🙂 That is so great you are keeping up with the challenge, push ups get me too, sometimes I make the trick and do plyos against the wall. I do try to eat the rainbow just because it lightens up an ugly sky 😉

Plyos against the wall is a good idea. I’m gonna try that. Thanks for the tip!

All the food looks awesome! I love green apples! I guess it’s the tartness in them.
