The time I broke the spin bike…apparently I workout so hard that I break the equipment. Last weekend I jumped on the spin bike and the seat flew down on me. There’s two of them so I got on the second one and it did the same. Upon closer inspection I found the seats have a suction that keeps them in place when you adjust up or down which was broken on the bikes. Probably from all the people who ride them the wrong way. Am I the only one who this stuff happens to or am I the only one who’s brave enough to admit it on the internet?
After I went up to the front desk attendant who was Facebook-ing on her phone to show her the broken pieces and shared with her how dangerous this is. She told me the manager would be in the next 30 minutes. She never asked if I was okay, didn’t put out of order signs on the bikes and the manager never showed up either. Sometimes I wonder if the world is so dependent on technology that they’ve lost all common sense. Gotta love box gyms!
In other news, I have my feet back!!! After two years of dealing with plantar fasciitis, arch problems and having to wear running shoes every day of my life (which is no fun when you live in the desert), I FINALLY can wear flip flops again! I really thought my feet would never go back to normal. I’m so happy I could cry! P.S. if you’re in you’re 30’s, wear supportive shoes so this does not happen to you.

Lunch. My usual kale tuna broccoli salad with mustard.
Snack. Sour cream blueberry muffin. I forgot how good these are and they’re only 94 calories!
Dinner. Crockpot chicken taco bowl. So easy and one of my favorites!
Snack. An orange!
