Hello Hello Friends!
How’s the first weekend of August treating you? It’s been quiet over here and I can’t tell you how grateful I am for some peace. Last week was a hurricane of phone calls. I should’ve been resting my injuries, but instead I was constantly dealing with doctors, therapists, lawyers and insurance companies. So not fun. Insurance companies particularly are the worse. You really have to be your own advocate. I can’t get better if I have to expend so much of my energy fighting bureaucracy every step of the way. I have a mind to write a letter to my congressmen, state representative or someone. Ok, rant over. Thanks for listening! On the bright side, I have all this time on my hands to dream up pumpkin recipes.
