Hope you’re enjoying the weekend and staying cool! It’s been a chilly 115 degrees in Phoenix. It’s so hot. I sweat just thinking about going outside. It’s a good time of year to have a tibia fracture because it gives me a good excuse to stay indoors and sip on my favorite smoothie. Unfortunately, today I do have to leave for a bit. The immobolization has caused severe cramping in my foot and calf. My foam roller and golf ball have been my BFF’s this week, but it’s not enough. I’m hoping reflexology will loosen up the tissues and promote blood flow. I have a 4 week checkup later this week for the fracture. Only 9 more weeks to go (insert Megan scary face). Wish me luck! Now grab a cup of coffee and catch up on what you missed last week in this edition of the Sunday Skinny.
