This is the cold that never ends. Either that or I’m allergic to swimming. I wish I could tell you I’m feeling better this week, but this respiratory thing is still lingering. After a round of antibiotics last week (which severely hurt my stomach), I’m still not feeling right.
My symptoms get worse in the pool. My throat swells, chest feels compressed and I cough. Now that I’m teaching four days a week, I’m in the water a lot more than my usual three mornings training on my own. Knowing my luck, this will be something weird like a chlorine allergy. That would be a shame because I really love teaching and swimming!
The good news is my appetite seems to be coming so let’s see what I’ve been eating! Breakfast. My post workout protein shake.
Followed by an easy egg muffin with plantains.
Lunch. I was running errands and picked up a chicken pine nut salad which will need to be recreated one day. I also ate an apple that I had in my purse. I always have food in my purse.
Dinner. Salmon, roasted sweet potatoes and asparagus.
