It’s been a long time since I reviewed my blog’s stats. Now that I’ve been doing it more than year it’s interesting to look back and see what worked and what didn’t. One of my biggest regrets I have was not setting up Google Analytics right away when I first started blogging. Now to get my stats I have to piece things together from WordPress and GA. Huge pain. Learn from my lesson, mmmk? I promise one of these days I tell you all the other things I wish I had known too.
After reading this last week, I decided it was time to do some year-end blog clean up and what better time to do that than when you’re laid up with an injury. Good time to organize things that have been a thorn in my side like my recipe index. Finally I found a plugin I like and after spending 3 hours cleaning up posts, everything looks amazing and automatically updates for me with each post I publish. Perfection.
Now I’m marching into 2015 with a “cleaner” slate and better understanding of my readers. You guys obviously like food (a lot) and weight loss talk. In 2015, I’m making it a goal of mine to review things monthly and post it too. Anything you guys want to see more? Let me know in the comments below. I’d love your feedback!
