Three years ago I snapped this Do What You Love picture intending to share it one day to inspire others. What’s funny is on my journey to inspiring others, I inspired myself.
Remember I mentioned a few weeks ago I had news? I was hired by two websites to do recipe development and food photography! I’m also writing articles for a third site and doing trial food photography work for fourth BIG site that may become permanent too.
Since leaving my corporate job, I’d been wrestling with what to do work wise while attending nutrition school the next 18 months. Once school is finished, I still have to pass the board exam and build a business. Oi! So I needed something flexible with decent income during this timeframe.
Until recently, it didn’t dawn on me that my little photography hobby might be a marketable skill. So on a whim I applied to a few jobs I found online, gave them samples of my work and the response from everyone was when can you start? Don’t underestimate yourself because you just never know!

Post Workout. Just my favorite protein shake.
Breakfast. Two egg muffins and plantains. It was a marathon workout day so more protein was in order!
Lunch. My usual kale tuna broccoli salad.
Followed by an apple peanut butter cookie with flax & chia.
Dinner. Low calorie cashew chicken bake.
An apple for dessert.
