While we technically don’t have a spring in Arizona, this time of year I always feel the need to “spring” clean my act. Eat more veggies and protein, drink more water, do more mindful workouts, donate old clothes, invest in new fitness apparel & accessories and give my body more rest and self care. When it’s 100 degrees outside, I know my body and mind needs more TLC to survive the long, hot days.
Today I’m sharing a few things I received from Babbleboxx this month that will help me do just that! In case you haven’t heard, Babbleboxx is not a subscription service. It’s a curated same box sent to influencers. My box this month was full of exciting, new to me items and I know you will love them as much as I do!
P.S. there’s a $200 giveaway at the end so make sure you stick around!
I’ve been searching for beet powder for months and haven’t been able to find any locally. I was thrilled to see it in my box! I’m not a fan of beets, but they have so many health benefits that I feel I have to find a way to get them in my diet.
This Synergy Beet Juice Powder doesn’t taste like beets at all. I will definitely be adding it to my smoothies this summer! I haven’t tried the Turmeric Extract yet, but I know I will be testing it out on hard workout day. Turmeric is such a great natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant for boosting the immune system.

With all the time I spend in the gym and teaching spin, I’m always looking for a good sports bra. Champion is one I’ve bought for years. I received the Curvy Strappy Sports Bra. The fit was spot on (I wore a size small for a 34C) and the bra itself was cute, comfortable and flattering. However, it was not the right support for me. It wasn’t enough support for my workouts.
Also, I’m sorry if this is TMI but once you reach 40, the tissue in that area starts to lower from gravity which makes them wider. Mine have changed so much this past year and no matter how many chest presses I do, it doesn’t change. If you’re middle aged and dealing with this, you’re not alone. This Champion sports bra was not supportive enough for me, but I buy Champion all the time at Target so don’t let that stop you from checking them out!
I have a confession. I’m a candle hoarder! I love candles. They’re everywhere in my house. Some are burnt, others are just for show. The one I received was called Balance & Harmony. The name was spot on with what I smelled. It resembled that of a wellness fragrance. I felt like I was at a spa. I will definitely be buying more of these Chesapeake Bay Candles to stay relaxed and calm throughout the summer.
I’m in the market for a new pair of headphones. The ones I have currently die after 30 minutes which is really a bummer when you’re in the middle of working out so, when I saw these in my box I was ready to hit the gym. At first, I was confused about how these work because they don’t go in your ears.
I love the concept of them being on the outside of your ears. They do tickle your ears a bit when the base is loud on certain songs, but otherwise they’re great! I was skeptical it would be enough to block out distracting noises in the gym. Like the person on the elliptical next to you talking loudly to the person next to them? But it was! I’m definitely looking forward to using these and they couldn’t have come at a better time.

I haven’t read this book yet, but I flipped through it a bit last week and found so many phrases that resonated with me. As you know, I left my corporate job a few years ago to start my nutrition practice and blog full time. It was scary, and there are still many days, weeks, months that I feel overwhelmed by it.
While I was flipping through the book, I came upon a blocked phrase that really stood out to me called “get rejected on purpose.” Rejection is always my biggest fear, but what the author said made so much sense about facing your fear and allowing yourself to feel that rejection basically so you get better at rebounding from it. I know what I’ll be reading by the pool this summer!
When I opened my box and saw these clear lens glasses, I was confused. I had Lasik several years ago and I the last thing I was to do is go back to being blind and wearing glasses. Then I realized these were for to block HEV blue light and for UV protection to protect from harmful blue light.
If you haven’t heard of blue light, it’s the light that reflects from our phones, computers and TV’s. Since the majority of us are on these devices a lot, it interferes with our natural serotonin cycle. This is why it’s so important to shut these devices down or wear a UV blocker at night otherwise sleep becomes a real struggle.
I do a lot of computer work and noticed while I was wearing them there was less strain on my eyes. I will definitely have to work on my habit of wearing them especially at night, but I know I need to do it!
Whether you’re interested in UV blockers, sunglass, prescription or nonprescription glasses, Zenni has something for everyone. I’m giving away a $200 gift card you can use at Zenni.com to use on a one-time purchase. Comment below and I will randomly select a winner this Friday!
