3 Smart Strategies To Stop Cravings So You Can Lose Weight!

20 Foods Under 50 Calories

July 30, 2015

If you’re calorie counter like me, then you’ve probably figured out a few things about calories and food. The primary one being that not all calories are created equal. Sure you can eat that bag of M&M’s but in 30 minutes your blood sugar will spike, you’ll be craving more and more and so the vicious cycle of sugar highs and lows begins as does the overeating. Just because you’re counting calories doesn’t mean swapping the bad stuff and skimping on the good. You still need to eat healthy, well-balanced and nutritious meals even when you’re counting calories and trying to lose weight. Our bodies do not operate properly when they’re not being fueled with good food and the chances for weight loss diminish and long-term maintenance  if we’re on a low calorie diet consisted of junk. Remember weight loss is about changing your relationship with food , making healthy habits and changing for life. Once you discover what your healthy is, you’ll be well on your way. Today I share with you 20 foods under 50 calories. All healthy, whole foods that are naturally low in calories and delicious too!

Haha I remember that happening to my Mom years ago when she was on a carrot diet. Don’t even ask.

So many good ones, and love my spinach 🙂 Also great how parmesan provides so much flavor without overwhelming the dish with fat.

I don’t count calories, but it’s nice to see the calorie count for the above items. Now what about the slice (or three) of pizza I’m about to consume tonight from Pizza Hut? Haha 😛

Girl you are blessed to be naturally thin. I can’t eat pizza unless it’s gluten free now. 🙁

I’ve decided veggie calories basically don’t count. I could eat zucchini all day every day! 🙂

I’ve come to that conclusion as well. I generally know if I’m eating a lot of veggies I don’t need to worry us out calories.

I never count the calories in veggies or coffee because I consume exorbitantly huge amounts at each meal–lol. If I did–I have a feeling they’d be in the thousands–lol. I literally have salads the size of my head for each meal. The only veggies that I count calories for are starchy ones like–potatoes, squash, etc.. That’s why I”m always bloated. 🙂
    I hope you’re doing well!
    XOXO
And PS: I sent you an email–I hope you received it.
