Now for the food stuff…What I Ate Wednesday (WIAW) is a way for me to share what I eat in a day.
My beloved morning joe Starbucks Pike Place – 1 tablespoon of non-diary creamer & a dash of cinnamon. Starbucks makes me happy. :)
Breakfast – My usual, 2 egg whites & spinach seasoned with oregano & garlic powder, drizzled with Sriracha hot sauce. Instant oatmeal topped with blueberries & strawberries. This is a hearty meal & it’s only 183 calories.
Lunch – Half can of tuna on lettuce with roasted brussels sprouts & yellow mustard
A side of broccoli
and Organic Greek yogurt - this stuff is good & 90 calories!
Starbucks Zen Green Tea
Snack – a serving of Way Better Sweet Potato Chips with my homemade Avocado Hummus
A lot of water…I lost count!
And….at least an entire lemon for my water. I need to plant a lemon tree. Seriously, they’re quite common in Arizona.
Snack – An organic Gala apple.
Dinner – Bowl of Chicken Lentil Soup I made in my slow cooker last weekend.
Desert – a slice of banana chocolate chip bread.
Peppermint tea before bed….comfort
