Hi Guys! Happy Sunday!
While the rest of you are waking up to spring, those of us in the southwest have jumped directly into summer. I was thinking two nights ago how glorious it was to be sleeping with the windows open all night. There’s nothing more refreshing than cool air blowing in and no electric bill. But as they say, all good things come to an end. Yesterday I broke down and turned on the a/c. It was 90 here and my upstairs was already 85. No way sleeping would’ve happened and that’s just not a negotiable with me. I need my sleep.
On the bright side, I’ve been feeling good this week. Two weeks ago, I was in so much pain. I wanted to die. I thought I’d never be ok again. I didn’t want to go anywhere. I didn’t want to do anything. I didn’t want to eat either. This week was a big turn around. I feel like a new person. I was able to get really good workouts in this week. My leg is feeling strong, but I’m taking it day by day. Some are better than others. Huge thanks to my therapists for their excellent care and that one horribly painful dry needling experience last week. Tell you all about that one some other day. Let’s hope this upward trend continues though so I can catch up to my passion! Enjoy the reads and see you guys back tomorrow for a low-calorie St. Patty’s day treat.
