When you meet someone, you know if they’re meant to be in your life. Whether it be someone you’re going to be friends with, date or marry. “When you know, you know.” I believe this is true with food and especially true of nut butters. When you crack open a jar, you just know after that first spoonful if it’s meant to be in your belly.
During my my weight loss, I ate peanut butter with an apple religiously every day after lunch. I was blissfully unaware until a few years ago that other types of nut butters existed. Shocking! Once I tried other nuts butters, I was hooked and there was no chance I’d go back to eating peanut butter daily with all those options.
The first brand I tried outside of peanut butter was NuttZo and it’s hands down my favorite brand! I was drawn to their unique blends of seeds & nuts. Also, they’re non-GMO, gluten free and organic ingredients.
Today my pantry’s healthily stocked with a variety of nut butters including a TON of NuttZo. While I still enjoy an apple with nut butter daily (after all they say it does keep the doctor away) I mostly use them for making snacks and muffins. When chocolate cravings strike, I like to pick up a chocolate nut butter to sweeten the deal. Boy! Did I ever sweeten the deal with these muffins!
The star ingredient of these bad boys is NuttZo Chocolate 7 Nut & Seed Butter. When I bought my first jar and had a taste, I just knew I had to put this deliciousness in a muffin!
Check out this list of ingredients: organic roasted peanuts, organic roasted cashews, organic roasted almonds, organic Peruvian dark chocolate (organic cocoa liquor, organic cane sugar, organic cocoa butter, organic cocoa powder), organic roasted flax seeds, organic roasted hazelnuts, organic roasted brazil nuts, organic roasted sunflower seeds, sea salt
